Sign and Pay Deposit to Confirm

Signature and payment can be received by tapping on your online proposal and making a payment via our website OR via mail. If sending through mail, be sure to sign your contract and send with a check!

FAQ

1Can I make changes to my order after I've booked?
Yes! You can make changes to your order up until two weeks prior to your event date! If removing more than 10% of the cost of your order, you could be subject to a cancellation fee.
2What if the event date changes?
We allow up to one date change per order for date changes, however your items will be subject to availability.
3What are the payment options?
We accept check, credit card and ACH payments. Credit Card payments are subject to a percentage fee added on to the payment.
4How long is the rental period?
All pricing is based per event, with our product not being away from Borrow for more than 3 days. If the items are needed for multiple events and/or longer than 3 days, additional rental fees apply.
5What is the deposit? Do I receive it pack after the order?
The deposit is the first 1/2 payment for the order. The second half of the payment is due 2 weeks prior to the event. We require full payments to ensure delivery.

Every Delivery and Pickup Includes:

    All Borrow orders include white glove DELIVERY and PICKUP. Every delivery is overseen by an Operations Lead, inspected and cleaned onsite and set specifically to your floor plan.

    Pricing

    Delivery, Pickup, Installation and Strike are all covered under a charge that starts at 30% of rentals total.
    The 30% charge covers our entire product management process from warehouse to job location and back again. We pride ourselves on our excellent product upkeep and care. Our process ensures your product is in beautiful condition at all times.
    Delivery discounts are available for orders over $1500 and/or located within Cuyahoga County, Oh.
    The Cuyahoga County discount is 5% off. The over $1500 discount is 5%.
    For orders more than 200 miles away, $1 mileage adjustment is added to the order for every mile past 200.
    This fee considers multiple trips and/or if we will be keeping a team on location. Enquire for more details.
    A $200 out of state fee applies to orders outside of Ohio.
    This covers tolls, taxes and possible hotel expenses as well as per diem for our employees.
    We have a $750 minimum for all orders within 200 miles from Borrow Headquarters.

    Scheduling Options

    Standard: Monday - Friday during regular business hours
    This is our standard delivery option and requires no additional charges. You may choose a 4 hour delivery once the day is planned and we will be able to share the schedule within 1 week of your event.
    Weekend: Saturday - Sunday during regular business hours
    We love being able to accommodate special delivery requests. We ask you to please let our team know at least 30 days prior to your event to ensure we schedule you appropriately. The weekend delivery option will be able to provide your team a 4 hour window of delivery.
    Weekend Special: Saturday - Sunday with specific delivery and pickup requests
    Borrow has worked at many locations, some of which require a timed drop off and/or after hour services. We are happy to be able to accommodate these requests! Please allow 30 days notice. Fees range in price from $200 - $250.

    Additional Accommodation Fees + Discounts

    Yes, we can accommodate last minute bookings!
    Oh no! Do you have last minute event or need a rental setup within 7 days of your event! No worries, we'll take care of you! Additional fees ranging from 5% - 10% may apply. This is also for orders that may have been proposed before the 7 day marker, but are not signed and confirmed until within the week of delivery.
    Yes, we can accommodate steps!
    To safely deliver and install items over steps typically requires specialty equipment and/or additional man power. Fees range from $75 - $150.

    FAQ

    1Can you deliver to two different locations?
    We can! We would add an additional delivery charge to cover.
    2What does installation mean?
    Installation includes all furniture and decor assembly and setup.
    3What kind of vehicle does Borrow use?
    Most of our deliveries will come in a 26 foot or 20 foot box truck. We also have a delivery van. If your property or street does not accommodate box truck access, please let us know as soon as possible.
    4What if something doesn't fit in my space?
    Unfortunately the client is responsible for determining if items will fit. If you aren't sure, there is a measuring calculator we can send to you or if you're lucky, we're happy to make a trip out! If we do get on your site and something doesn't fit, unfortunately we do not take money off. Be sure to be sure!
    5What happens if the delivery crew shows up and does not have access to the delivery or pickup location?
    Our team typically only has a 30 minute swing for mishaps. If we are unable to get in within 30 minutes, we will schedule for another pickup or delivery. However, this may result in an additional delivery charge.
    6What happens if the delivery team was unable to locate something upon pickup?
    Our delivery team has a 30 minute swing for pickups and deliveries. If they are unable to locate the items in that time frame, the client will be responsible for returning the item(s) to Borrow.
    7What if I don't have a floor plan?
    Great news! if your order is more than $3500 in rentals, we will be happy to make one for you! Otherwise, please have someone on site to direct. If no floor plan or director is present, we will drop all items to a central location.

    Please enquire about our most up to date charge. This charge covers the prep and cleaning of your item(s) as well as one Borrow team member onsite to help load.

    Scheduling Options

    Standard delivery hours are Monday through Friday, 9am through 4:30pm. Weekends are not available for will call pickups or drop offs. If a later evening time frame is needed, please let us know. We can accommodate with an additional charge. All items must be returned no later than the following Monday, after the event.

    1Why can't you use open bed trucks and trailers?
    Weather, debris and a high probability of damage occurs when using these modes of transport.

    Rental Care

    BIG THINGS TO KNOW

    • Once the item has passed hands to the client the client is responsible for the care, custody and control of that item. If an item goes missing, becomes damaged or causes damage the client name on the order is responsible for the fix.
    • Please return all dish and table top rinsed with no food residue left on the item.
    • Damage waiver does not cover weather related damage so be sure to keep Borrow items out of any bad weather. However, it does cover wine spills!
    • Although we are always here to help, the client is responsible to know if an item can fit within a space. Because of this there are no refunds available for items that didn't fit.
    • Full refunds are available for orders canceled 91 days (or longer) prior to the event date.
